Post 8/8 Lionsgate Portal Reflections: The Wisdom of Buoyancy As Safety✨

I recently shared the message that came through for me after the 8/8 Lionsgate Portal energies and the key code of Buoyancy. Which was the invitation to stop struggling against the current, to allow ourselves to be held and to trust that integration doesn't always require more action.

As I continued sitting with this transmission, something deeper began to reveal itself. Because sometimes the reason we struggle to surrender isn't that we don't know how to surrender. It's because, somewhere within us, surrender doesn't yet feel safe.

As I previously shared I connected with a much younger part of myself, she was around ten years old. She wanted to run not because she was weak or because she didn't care, but because she didn't feel equipped to deal with what was in front of her. Conflict felt overwhelming, confrontation felt unsafe and the shadow felt too much.

And somewhere inside her was the belief, if I can just get away from it all, I'll finally be free. As I witnessed her, I could feel how familiar that pattern still is and perhaps you've experienced it too?

The desire to disappear when something feels too much, to withdraw, to avoid the difficult conversation, to distract yourself, to move on before you've actually felt what is asking to be felt or to change direction because staying feels uncomfortable.

Sometimes we call this intuition, sometimes we call it needing a fresh start and sometimes it genuinely is. But there are also moments when what looks like movement is actually escape.

That distinction has been very important for me, because I was shown two very different images with my inner child. On one side was a small enclosed space, like a cupboard or wardrobe. It was contained, predictable and controlled.

On the other side was open water, fluid, moving and unpredictable. Now my inner child wanted the cupboard because she believed that it felt controlled, and control equals safety.

But then I noticed the water changed, and I saw myself floating in it with a life vest. And suddenly I understood that there was another possibility.

I didn't have to choose between being completely controlled and being completely overwhelmed. I could be ‘held’ while moving. I could be supported without knowing exactly where I was going. I could remain present without having to control every part of the journey.

And that is where the deeper teaching of buoyancy emerged - safety doesn't always come from control. Sometimes safety comes from knowing that you can remain with yourself even when life is moving.

This feels particularly important after an energetic opening, because when something shifts within us, old patterns can surface. The fear, doubt, unworthiness, not-enoughness and the desire to hide and to run can rise, and we can mistakenly think something has gone wrong.

But perhaps something much more useful is happening….perhaps we are being shown the places where we still believe we have to abandon ourselves in order to feel safe. Perhaps this is where sovereignty begins…..not with becoming invulnerable, or never feeling fear, or not with having everything figured out. But with being able to say I am here….I am staying with myself….I don't have to run from this moment.

As I continued in this transmission, I felt an enormous protective presence come forward. An Angelic Warrior then came forward, followed by the imagery of the Rose. What struck me most was that I didn’t need to become the warrior, rather it was though something was reminding me that I am allowed to be soft and protected. I am allowed to be open and discerning. I am allowed to be loving and still have boundaries. I don’t have to harden myself in order to be safe.

And this feels like such an important reminder stepping into this next chapter. We don’t need more armour; we need deeper self-trust!

So perhaps, today, notice where you feel the urge to run or escape. Not to judge it, and not to stop yourself from moving if movement is genuinely what is needed, but simply to pause and ask “Am I moving toward something, or am I moving away from something?

Then place your hand over your heart, take a breath, and remind the inner parts of you that you don’t have to do this alone.

You don’t have to know everything, and you don’t have to run. You can be held, you can stay, you can move, you can float, and you can trust yourself to meet whatever comes next.🤍✨

With an abundance of love and gratitude,

Ali 🌹
